Complete’s lender Ryder Cup raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society

The alternative Ryder Cup comes to Hampshire on the 1st October with the playing of the 3rd contest between a Bridging & Commercial team representing the USA and a Mortgage team representing Europe.

The Mortgage Team comprises:-

The Bridging & Commercial team is represented by:-

• Phil Jay – Captain
• Andy Reid – Interbay
• Rob Love – United Trust Bank
• Pete Turner – Shawbrook
• Gareth Lewis – Precise
• Jonathan Seifert – Hudson Keys
• Nick Jones – Blemain
• Jeremy Crinall – Funding Circle

In a complete turnaround from the recent results from the ‘other’ Ryder Cup, Bridging & Commercial (USA) retained the Cup in 2013 having won convincingly in 2012 on the first occasion that the contest was contested. However, team captain of the Mortgage Team, Tony Salentino, is confident of success this time.

He said, “We were unlucky last year not to snatch victory, but the draw we had in 2013 will inspire us to great things this year. We have strengthened the team and I have taken a leaf out of the Paul McGinley book of captaincy after his successful campaign to retain the Ryder Cup. This is war and we shall prevail.”

Opposing captain, Phil Jay commented, “I am pleased to welcome back the majority of last year’s team and I am confident we will prevail. The Mortgage Team are long on bluster and short on hope. I have no doubt that we will comfortably retain ‘our’ trophy.”

Both captains are united in dedicating the match to raise as much cash as possible for the Alzheimer’s Society.
